‘Fonseca’ Extending Rosewood & Teak MCM dining table by John Herbert for Younger

A beautifully designed & crafted extending ‘Fonseca’ dining table designed by John Herbert for Younger.
Designed as part of their award winning ‘Fonseca’ range this table was produced in relatively low numbers so rarely comes to market.
Featuring elegantly tapered solid afromosia legs and sides with a stunning teak veneered top.
The table extends by simply pulling the ends apart which reveals the cleverly stored butterfly leaf extension, the table is then pushed back together to provide enough seating to comfortably seat up to six people.
Condition: The whole table has been professionally restored and treated with heat resistant wax oil. A small heat ring that could not been removed is still visible near the centre of the table. This in no way detracts from the fabulous aesthetics and functionality of this item.
